Your first steps
When you spawn in, do this before you wander:
- Redeem USA250 and RODASH for starter Cash (see the Codes page).
- Head to the dealership marked on your GPS.
- Buy an affordable beginner car from the top of the catalogue — the Bremen Hulsmeyer is a cheap option if it is in stock.
Learn to drive
Driving uses a manual gearbox, so this is the part new players get stuck on. Once in your car: press F to start the engine, press E three times to set Drive, then hold W to go. Use Q to shift down and P for the parking brake. If you cannot move, you are still in Neutral — keep tapping E.
Make your first Cash
Pick an easy job to build a balance: the Cashier job at Defresca or Fresh Harvest is low-stress, mail delivery is a simple loop, and RoDash pays well if you can chain orders without crashing.
Pick a role
Once you are comfortable, decide how you want to play: stay a civilian and claim a house, join the police or fire/EMS for team roleplay, or work DOT to build on the roads. There is no wrong choice — try a few and see what you enjoy.
